Gugu Mbatha-Raw to star in one 'Black Mirror' episode

"Beyond the Lights" star Gugu Mbatha-Raw and "The Martian" actor Mackenzie Davis are the first two stars revealed for Charlie Brooker's new "Black Mirror" episodes.

The writer is working on 12 new installments of the dark comedy series, to air exclusively on Netflix.

No plot details about Mbatha-Raw and Davis's characters or storylines have been revealed yet, according to TheWrap.

Their episode will be directed by Owen Harris, who most recently helmed the Nicholas Hoult thriller "Kill Your Friends".

Netflix commissioned a third series of "Black Mirror" back in September.

Each episode of the black comedy features unique characters in stories about the unintended consequences of modern technology.
