Guj CM promises special allocation for sports in next budget

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel today announced that she will make special allocation for sports in the next budget.

An official release here said the government will retain specialised coaches to train talented sportspersons.

Patel today distributed prizes worth Rs 27.7 crore to the winners on the concluding day of 'Khel Mahakumbh'.

About 28.5 lakh persons from the age of 6 to 60, including physically challenged ones, participated in 21 events over the last 45 days. The games concluded at the police stadium here.
