A junior engineer of the National Institute of Fashion Technology was Monday arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe.
According to a CBI press release, accused Pramod Kumar had asked Rs 10,000 as bribe from the complainant for clearing bills of work done at NIFT, Gandhinagar.
Kumar was caught red-handed in a trap laid by the CBI, it added.
He was booked under Prevention of Corruption Act and remanded in judicial custody till May 2 by a local court, said the release.
