Barring a rise of Rs 100 per quintal in gur pedi prices on paucity of stocks, other varieties ruled steady at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital on little doings.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend on scattered support.
Marketmen said negligible stocks position and speculative buying by stockists and retailers mainly pushed up gur pedi prices.

In Delhi, gur pedi traded higher by Rs 100 to end at Rs 3,400-3,500 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,400-3,500, dhayya Rs 3,500-3,600 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,550, chakku Rs 2,675-3,025, khurpa Rs 2,750-2,825 and Ladoo Rs 2,850-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,000-3,050 and dhayya Rs 3,050-3,100.
