Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind today released a coffee table book, titled 'Bodhgaya: The Land of Enlightenment'at the world-famous Mahabodhi Temple premises on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima.
Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the publication of a coffee book aimed at promotion of Bodh Gaya as a religious destination where Lord Buddha had attained enlightenment.
"Lord Buddha offered an ethical code of conduct to all of us. I hope the book will rekindle the lights in our hearts by recounting all of this," the Governor noted.
The author and photo editor of the Coffee Table Book, Uday Sahay said that the book will help to promote Bodh Gaya as a 'Land of Enlightenment by showcasing high quality images of the Mahabodhi Temple, land of Bodh Gaya, and Lord Buddha's life story'.
