A half-burnt body of a woman, apparently in her 30s, was found on Nainital road near Kaladhungi today.
A passerby saw the body near Ghatgarh at a hillock near the Shiv temple this morning and informed the police, Circle Officer Swatantra Kumar said.
Thought the identity of the woman could not be ascertained, but it seemed the body was disposed off recently, he said, adding investigations are on.
