Har govt appoints L N Mittal as Tax Tribunal head

The state government has appointed Justice L N Mittal (retd) as the Chairman of the Haryana Tax Tribunal with immediate effect.

Sukhpal Singh Kang, a resident of Chandigarh, and Sachin Jain, a resident of Hansi, have also been appointed as the Members of the Tribunal, an official spokesman said here.

They would perform the functions and exercise the powers of the Tribunal under the Haryana Value Added Tax Act, 2003, he said.
