Har to introduce scheme to assist mishap victims on highways

The Haryana government will soon introduce the 'Atal Jeevan Rakshak Yojana' for assisting people who get injured in accidents on National Highways.

Under this scheme, ambulance with ultra-modern life support system would be used to take patients to trauma centre, state health minister Anil Vij said.

The matter of implementation of e-Upchar Yojana is being reviewed. As many as 55 hospitals would be included under this scheme and all medical colleges would be linked to it, he said.

Medical colleges are being established at various cities, including Bhiwani, Jind and Panchkula. Besides, approval has been given to private sector for opening medical colleges, the minister said.
 

A monitoring system has been implemented for quick disposal of files in the health department. The procedure of transfers of employees in the department would be done online, Vij said, adding an online transfer software has been prepared for this purpose and its trial would be conducted soon.

The minister said health cards would be made for all people of the state and tenders have already been invited in this regard. A technical committee, which includes Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (HARTRON), has been constituted for its assessment.
