Haryana govt schools to get power from rural domestic feeders

Haryana power distribution company Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided that rural domestic feeders will now supply electricity to government schools.
The shift has been made from agriculture power feeders and work in this regard would be completed in one month.
In case the schools are situated near urban feeders, they would be connected with the same, a DHBVN spokesman said today.
Also, High Tension (HT) wires crossing over schools would be shifted immediately and the cost would be borne by the organisation. It would take two-and-a-half months for doing this, he added.
