Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has decided to provide financial assistance to 12,500 Scheduled Castes (SC) beneficiaries under various schemes during current financial year.
Stating this here today, an official spokesperson said the corporation had assisted over 12,000 beneficiaries with over Rs 47.74 crore including more than Rs 9 crore as subsidy during financial year 2012-13.
The official said that members belonging to SC category were being provided loans under various categories to enable them to set up their ventures.
These categories included agriculture and allied, industrial, trade and business, professional and self-employment sectors, she said.
