With a view to make the 'Make in India' programme a success, Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki has urged all industrialists to prepare skilled workforce as per the requirement of their industries.
The Governor, who was addressing a regional conference of Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association here today, said this would not only ensure availability of skilled workforce but also reduce unemployment.
Urging the industrialists to use modern technology for production of paper, the Governor said agricultural waste, which could be used as raw material for manufacturing paper, was abundantly available in the country.
This would reduce the requirement to cut trees for this purpose, he said, according to an official release.
