Haryana revenue official booked for graft

A revenue official was allegedly caught red-handed while accepting a bribe from a resident of Palla village by the Haryana Vigilance Bureau today.
Mahmood Khan, posted at Mewat in Nuh under the revenue department was caught taking Rs 10,000 as bribe from a resident of Palla village in connection with demarcation and measurement of land, a Haryana Vigilance Bureau spokesman said.
The spokesman said that a case has been registered against the accused under Section 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act at Bureau's police station in Gurgaon.
