Haryana sets up panel to rationalise commercial property tax

The Haryana government today set up a committee to rationalise property tax on commercial properties at municipal areas in the state.

Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has ordered that recovery of property tax on such properties would remain in abeyance for 45 days, an official spokesman said here today.

The five-member committee would be headed by Industries Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala.

The Committee has been asked to submit its report by July 29, the spokesman said.
