Calcutta High Court Chief Justice Manjula Chellur today visited Silguri.
The lawyers of Siliguri are boycotting courts since December 8 demanding that a new building be constructed for them and transfer of all legal work from Bhaktinagar police station to Siliguri.
The Bar Association members called on the Chief Justice and held talks with her regarding their demands.
Siliguri Bar Association secretary Chandan Dev said the association members would meet on January 12 to decide whether to call off their boycott or continue with it.
