Heatwave claims lives of 2 ITBP personnel

Two Indian Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel were killed due to intense heatwave in the region here today, police said.
Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Joginder Singh (52) of Mandi, Himachal Pardesh, and Head Constable Shatrughan (44) of Etawah, Uttar Pardesh, posted here at 51st Battallion of ITBP, were admitted to Rajindera Hospital on Saturday after they were found unconscious soon after their duty, police said.
The doctors could not save them as both breathed their last today in the hospital, police said.
