Heavy rains likely in Himachal Pradesh

The local MeT department has warned of heavy to very heavy rains and thunderstorms in various parts of Himachal Pradesh during next 72 hours.

The state experienced heavy rainfall during last month which was 151 per cent above the normal and Kinnaur and Sirmaur districts were the worst affected with receiving 1229 per cent and 798 per cent rainfall above normal, it said.
