Union Minister of Minority Affairs Najma Heptulla today accused the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh of not utilising the funds alloted by the Centre for minorities.
"The central government allocates fund to the state government for various schemes but I regret that UP government does not spend it on poor and minorities," Heptulla said addressing a programme organised as a part of 'vikas parv' week.
She said education was lacking among minorities, especially women, which needs to be addressed.
