The BSF today seized two kilograms of heroin valued at Rs 10 crore in the international market near the Indo-Pak border in the Ferozpur sector here.
Security forces noticed suspicious movements of some persons in Mothiyawalan under Ferozpur sector early today, Director General of the BSF's Punjab Frontier division, Adyita Mishra said.
When challenged, they fled leaving behind 2 kgs of heroin worth Rs 10 crore in the international market .
The drug was found contained in two packets, Misra said.
Three packets containing fake currency with the face value of nine lakh and twenty thousand rupees were also found during the search, he added.
