A 41-year-old man was arrested for stabbing to death a person in Andheri in the metropolis on Monday, police said.

Amjad Muzavar, in an inebriated state, stabbed Firoz Khan (54) over a petty issue and fled, an MIDC police station official said.

"People found Khan lying in a pool of blood and rushed him to hospital where he died at around 10am. Muzavar was held soon after. He is a history-sheeter with several cases against his name," the official added.
