As many as 360 suspected history sheeters voluntarily participated in the 'Swachh Hyderabad Abhiyan' as part of the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' at Paigah Tombs at Santoshnagar here, along with policemen, it was officially announced here today.
In a release issued here today, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Zone) V Satyanarayan said, "They participated in this mission conducted by the South Zone Police on their own accord with utmost enthusiasm to prove that they are also a significant part of a clean and crime-free Hyderabad".
At the event held yesterday, history (rowdy) sheeters said that they knowingly or unknowingly got involved in illegal acts due to which their school going children suffer being taunted by other children, the release said.

The rowdy sheeters stated that they are unable to celebrate festivals with their family members in a peaceful and pleasant family atmosphere due to the series of police cases against them, the release said.
On this occasion, all rowdy sheeters took an oath that that they would not indulge in any kind of illegal activities henceforth and lead normal lives like other citizens, the release said.
