hostel watchman injured after owner fires at him

A watchman of private hostel was injured after the owner allegedly fired at him at Thennampalayam on the outskirts of the city.

Police said that Selvaraj, who was reportedly drunk, shot at the watchman after an argument.

The watchman was admitted to the government hospital here and his condition is stated to be stable, police said.
