Delhiites continued to sweat under hot and humid conditions today as rains evaded the city and the humidity level shot up to 85 per cent causing discomfort.
According to MeT department, the day temperature settled at 37.7 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal and 1.1 degrees more than yesterday.
The minimum temperature was registered a notch higher than normal at 28.1 degree Celsius.

High humidity levels oscillated between 53 and 85 per cent.
The city did not witness any rainfall today, the official said.
"It will be a generally cloudy day tomorrow. Light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers may occur in some areas," the MeT official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow are expected to settle at around 36 and 27 degrees respectively, he added.
