It was a hot and humid day for Delhiites today with the mercury settling near 37 degree Celsius mark.
The maximum temperature registered was at 36.9 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal, a MeT Department official said.
The humidity in air oscillated between 33 per cent and 71 per cent.

"The skies will be mainly clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 37 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively," the official said.
Yesterday, maximum temperature settled at 36.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, which was normal for this time of the year.
