A hotel owner and his brother have been sentenced to 10 years in prison by a fast track court in a drug peddling case.
Justice Manoj Kumar also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh each on Praveen Kumar and his brother Monu after pronouncing them guilty under the NDPS Act yesterday.
Police had seized 10 kg of opium husk during a raid near Malira village under Kotwali police station in the district on September 27, 2009, government counsel Dushyant Tyagi said.
Pravin and Monu were later arrested in this connection.
