Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation received awards for best practices in tourism sector at India International Travel Mart in Pune.
"MPTDC has received two more awards at the India International Travel Mart in Pune on Sunday, in the category of 'Most Tourism Friendly Website' Award and 'Eco Tourism Destination of the Year' Award," an official release said today.
The corporation had earlier also won number of laurels for best practices in tourism sector.
MPTDC actively participated in the Mart that held from November 27 to 29 with its stall 'Chalo Madhya Pradesh'.
Beside showcasing prominent tourist destinations of the state, the stall also displayed major events of the Simhastha-2016, to be held at Ujjain from April next year, it said.
Materials with interesting information about Madhya Pradesh's tourist destination were also distributed.
Tourism Development Corporations of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jammu-Kashmir, Andaman-Nicobar, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and other states had participated in the Mart.
