HPCL to set up refinery and petro-chem complex in Barmer

Rajasthan government and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) will sign a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) here tomorrow for setting up a refinery and petrochemical complex in Barmer.

Union Petroleum Minister M Veerappa Moily and Chief Minister Ashok Gehklot will be present on the occasion at the Chief Minister's office, a spokesperson said.

The HPCL board had approved setting up of the complex costing Rs 37,000 crore, earlier this month.
