Hry govt to set up cultural centre in Gurgaon

The Haryana government has decided to set up a cultural centre worth about Rs 184 crore over 10 acres of land in the city, an official statement said here today.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar informed this during a meeting to review work his announcements in the four Assembly constituencies of the district, it said.

He directed officers not to cause any delay in its implementation.

The other announcements included relocation of meat shops, construction of an auto market, international-level railway station, new bus-stand at Gurgaon, construction of community centres in Wazirabad and Sector 14, opening of a driving training school, among others, it said.

 

The chief minister directed the officers to identify about 10 places to construct a multi-level parking. These include Kaman Sarai, Veterinary Hospital near Sadar Bazar, and old jail near Sohna Chowk.
