Union Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh today said he is in touch with the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for setting up a bench of Punjab and Haryana High Court in South Haryana.
He said addressing a programme of the Rewari Bar Association (RBA) here.
Union minister urged various Bar Associations of South Haryana, which had been demanding a bench, to choose a common place where the bench could be set up.

The Chief Minister was firmly of the opinion that when there could be two separate Benches of the respective High Court in various other states, why a separate Bench of the High Court could not be set up in Haryana as well, Rao said.
Rao also announced a financial assistance of Rs 11 lakh out of MPLAD fund for the RBA.
