One Direction star Harry Styles has defended his former girlfriend Taylor Swift, who is known for writing about her ex-boyfriends, saying he is lucky that someone writes about him.
The 22-year-old singer dated Swift from the end of 2012 until January 2013, reported Daily Mirror.
"I think we always say, when we wrote the album, that we write from personal experiences, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like 'oh you can't write a song'," Styles said.
"She is really good so... They're good songs. So I am lucky in that sense," he added.
Styles' good friend Olly Murs recently hit out at Swift after it was speculated that the former was at the centre of her song 'Out Of The Woods'.
