IAF's trainer aircraft crashes, pilot ejects safely
A Kiran trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed today after taking off from Hakimpet in Telangana.
The trainee pilot of the aircraft ejected safely, IAF sources said here.
They said the aircraft was on a routine training mission and crashed 50 km away from Hakimpet air force station.
The IAF has initiated a court of inquiry, they said.
