The Andhra Pradesh Government will give priority to improve condition of rural roads and other infrastructure facilities in interior villages of the State, Excise and BC Welfare Minister K Ravindra said today.
He said "our Government will give priority to rural roads and other infrastructures in interior villages."
The Minister was speaking after laying foundation stones for construction of CC (cement concrete) roads at Pedapatnam, Kanuru and Gokavarm villages under Machilipatnam mandal of Krishna district.

A new round of 'Janmabhoomi' programme will be launched on January 1 under which new ration cards will be distributed to eligible people, Ravindra said.
Nearly 43 lakh people living below poverty line were given pensions in the entire State during the last 16 months of the TDP-led Government, he added.
Later, the Minister and local Telugu Desam Party leaders participated in 'Jan Chaitanya Yatra', a mass contact programme undertaking by the ruling party.
