The new trailer for Chris Hemsworth's 'In the Heart of the Sea' has been unveiled.
The film is based on the book by Nathaniel Philbrick, which tells the true story of the Essex whaling ship sinking into the Pacific Ocean in 1820, reported Ace Showbiz.
The Essex was attacked by a whale and the event served as inspiration for Herman Melville's 'Moby Dick'.
'Thor' star Hemsworth is joined in the cast by Ben Whishaw, Cillian Murphy and Brendan Gleeson. Ron Howard is directing the film, with Charles Leavitt ('Blood Diamond') on screenwriting duties.
'In the Heart' of the Sea will open in cinemas on March 13, 2015.
