As part of its assistance programme, India has completed the first phase of modernisation of the Rajiv Gandhi Art and Production School in Ulan Bator, capital of Mongolia.
The first phase of the project was handed over to the Mongolian side on February 17.
The is an important symbol of India-Mongolia cooperation.

The project has been funded by the Ministry of External Affairs under a Grant Agreement signed in October 2013 between India and Mongolia.
It was set up under an Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation in 1992 to provide training to Mongolian students in different vocational disciplines.
The school was inaugurated in 1996. The second phase of the modernisation project of RGAPS will commence soon.
