Indian Ocean motivates Delhi youth to vote

To motivate youths to exercise their franchise in the ensuing polls, Rock Band Indian Ocean performed at a voter awareness programme organised by the office of Delhi Chief Electoral officer at Nehru Park here today.

The awareness programme was aimed at motivating youths to come out and vote on December 4 assembly election.

"The programme went very well. There was an enthusiastic crowd," said Chief Nodal Officer (Model Code of Conduct) Ankur Garg.

Besides the band's performance, a model polling station and electronic voting machine were put on display for the crowd. An exhibition of old election photos and sculptures were also on display.
 

Voter anthem was played at the end of the event.
