Info Edge ups stake in VCare Tech to 14.77%

Info Edge (India) Ltd, which owns leading job listings website Naukri.Com, today said it has invested an additional Rs one crore in VCare Technologies, taking its total stake in the company to 14.77 per cent.

VCare offers a phone directory app, Diro Labs, which works as a cross platform sharable collaborative phonebook.

In a BSE filing, Info Edge (India) Ltd said, "The company has through its wholly-owned subsidiary invested an additional amount of Rs 10 million through optionally convertible cumulative redeemable preference shares in VCare Technologies."

With this, the company has invested total Rs 40 million in VCare translating to about 14.77 per cent stake as on date, it said.
