Opposition leader in the Puducherry Assembly and former Chief Minister N Rangasamy (AINRC) today hailed the BJP's "landslide victory" in the North Eastern states of Tripura and Nagaland as an endorsement of the policies of the Prime Minister Nrendra Modi.
The "spectacular win" of the BJP in the North Eastern states is proof of the growing pan India popularity of the BJP in keeping with the policies and programmes of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also of BJP president Amit Shah< he told reporters here.
People in the North Eastern states have accepted the leadership of Narendra Modi, he said.
Rangasamy along with his party MLAs had attended a public meeting Modi addressed during his visit to Puducherry on February 25 after visiting the Auroville and Aurobindo Ashram.
