Stolen items worth several lakh rupees were recovered from their possession. With their arrest, police claimed to have solved four cases of burglaries and house theft.

"On Friday, a special team received information about Hussain's arrival in South Campus area to commit a crime with his associates. Accordingly, a raid was conducted and two of them were nabbed," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) B S Jaiswal.

The police have recovered stolen property including gold and silver jewelry worth several lakhs of rupees, two mobile phones, one LCD TV, nine watches, three digital cameras and equipment used for breaking-into houses from the accused.
