ISIS 'operative' arrested from Sikar sent to judicial custody

AllegedISISoperative Jamil Ahemad, who was arrested from Sikar by Anti-Terrorist Squad, was today sent to judicial custody by a here.

Ahemad was produced before the magisterial which remanded him in judicial custody.

He was arrested on November 16 from Sikar district.

"Ahemad had transferred funds to ISIS in middle east countries," ATS SP Vikas Kumar today said.

The ATS has seized laptop, pendrive, mobile handset, SIM cards and other items which have been sent to Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) for technical investigation, New Delhi, he said.

"The accused was in touch with ISIS operatives through and other means and collected funds and transferred to them," he said.

"During the interrogation, he justified the brutal killings of people. He was planning to be fully associated with the banned terror organisation," he said.
