A CRPF jawan and a schoolboy were arrested today after a 15-year-old girl in Rajouri district alleged that she was abducted and raped by them.
The third accused, Indian Reserve Police (IRP) jawan Bashrat Hussain, is on the run and efforts are being made to nab him, SSP (Rajouri) Mubassar Latiffi said.
CRPF jawan Kabir Hussain and Class 12th student Shamsheer Ahmed were arrested from Darhal area of Rajouri, he said.
In her complaint lodged yesterday, the girl alleged that on finding her alone, the three accused entered her house four days back and took her to a secluded place, where they assaulted her sexually.
The medical examination of the girl has been conducted and the report is awaited, he added.
