J&K Governor, CM greet people on Ladakhi New Year

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti extended their greetings to the people of Ladakh on the occasion of Losar, the Ladakhi New Year.

In his message of felicitations, the Governor said Losar symbolises love, tolerance, amity, communal harmony and brotherhood, which the people of Ladakh have cherished and nurtured over centuries.

He wished people a happy Losar and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the state.

In her felicitation message, the Chief Minister expressed hope that the festival, which represents the Ladakhi tradition of love, harmony and affection, would be a harbinger of communal harmony, peace and brotherhood in the state.
 

Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh also extended his greetings to the people on the occasion.
