The unemployed ayurvedic doctors today held a demonstration here demanding their absorption in the state government.
The protesters alleged that the government was not doing anything for the absorption of the ayurvedic doctors.
"We request Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to personally look into the matter and hold an inquiry to find out how many Ayurvedic doctors of Jammu region have been observed by the state government," Sahil Pandoh, a protester, said.
The doctors threatened they will intensify their agitation if their demands were not met.
