Jammu and Kashmir police promotes 126 officials

Those promoted include 10 Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Inspectors, 16 Assistant Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Sub-Inspectors and 100 Selection Grade Constables as Head Constables, according to the promotion order issued by Director General of Police Ashok Prasad.

The promotions were cleared at a meeting of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).

The DGP has congratulated the promoted cops and asked them to serve with more zeal and zest.

He asked them to re-dedicate themselves for public service, emphasising to ensure quick disposal of day-to-day official work at all levels.
