JE suspended in Haryana

A Junior Engineer posted in the

state's electricity department was suspended for allegedly issuing two power connections on a single application.

The suspension orders of Junior Engineer (JE) Chand Ram were issued by Haryana cabinet minister Anil Vij in a public meeting held here today.

Two power connections were issued to a farmer of village Saha on a single application, a senior official of the electricity department who was present in the meeting, said.

After learning about the incident, Vij directed Executive Engineer to suspend the JE with immediate effect.
