Actress Janet McTeer has been roped in to play a crucial role in "Jessica Jones" season two.
Details of McTeer's character are kept under wraps, except for the little tidbit, saying she "will have an enormous impact on Jessica's (Krysten Ritter) character's life", reported AceShowbiz.
"We are so fortunate to have an actress of Janet's talent and stature join what is already an incredible cast," said Marvel's Head of Television and Executive Producer, Jeph Loeb.
