JFA condemns Paris attack

The Journalists' Forum Assam today condemned the attack on the office of French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, in which 12 persons, including journalists were killed.

"The attacks on Charlie Hebdo can be termed as an assault on the universal rights of free expression," it said in a statement.

"Journalists have become the target of fanatics around the world and no place remains a safe haven for mediapersons," the statement said.
