Jharkhand Chief Secretary's service extended till December end

Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi's service has been extended till December 31 this year, a government notification said Friday.

According to the notification, the extension of the 1985 batch IAS officer is from October 1 to December 31 this year.

The Chief Secretary, who was appointed to the post on February 28 this year, was scheduled to retire on September 30.
