Jharkhand DGP supervises Operation Hill Vijay

Jharkhand Director General of Police D K Pandey today supervised combing operations in the Parasnath jungles, where flushing out operation against the Naxalites is underway from about one month.

During his surprise visit to Giridh yesterday, the DGP and other senior officials reviewed government works at the famous Parasnath Hills and supervised ongoing operations, police officials said.

Operation Hill Vijay and Parasnath Action Plan are underway simultaneously to flush out radicals and develop the area.

The DGP also paid obeisance at the Jain temple.

Pandey later told reporters that talks should be initiated by the Naxalites and Operation Hill Vijay would continue.
