Jharkhand govt making sincere efforts to promote hindi: CM

The Jharkhand government will set up a Bhasa academy in a month time as it was committed for the promotion of hindi language, chief minister Raghubar Das said Friday.

The effort of the government was to ensure that maximum work in school, college and universities be done in hindi, Das said while addressing a function organized on the occasion of Hindi Diwas in the new auditorium of Jharkhand mantralay.

Rajbhasa department should frame a policy to make hindi language mandatory in government offices in the state, he said.

The CM said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee Puraskar Yojana was introduced in the honor of former Prime Minister with an aim to promote hindi language.

 

The award would be given to a rising poet, reputed journalist and an official performing remarkbly, he said claiming that 21st century would be established as hindi centenary.

The chief minister called on the litterateur, writer, poet and journalists should deliberate on subjects including language, knowledge, technicalities to develop hindi world-wide.

Efforts should be made to ensure hindi should become the medium of science and technology in the modern era and use of hindi be more and more on social media such as facebook, twitter,instagram,whatsapp etc., he said adding that research should be done on this front.

India is a big market in the world and world players are trying to establish their presence in the country. Hence, they were emphasizing on learning hindi language, the chief minister said.
