JK govt announces 50 days summer vacations for schools

The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced 50 days long summer vacations in all government and private schools falling in the summer zone from May 29.
"In view of the prevailing hot weather conditions, the state government has announced summer vacations, in all government and private schools falling in summer zone, from May 29 to July 17," an official spokesman said today.
Accordingly, all the educational institutions have been asked to adhere to the schedule. Any deviation shall be dealt with strictly, he said.
