Jammu and Kashmir government has registered 432 cases against surrendered militants for their involvement in unlawful activities in the state.
As many as 432 cases were registered against surrendered militants and terrorists in the state, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said in a written reply to a question in the state Assembly here today.
As many as 4,081 terrorists have surrendered in the state since 1990.

Of the total 432 cases, 364 have been investigated and challaned into the court. Nine were closed as untraced and 59 are under investigation, Omar said.
Keeping in view the sensitivity of the issue, it may not be appropriate to share the details of these surrendered militants, he said.
